Buck Island, a Newly Conserved Mississippi River Destination Near Helena, Arkansas

The first leg of a new Lower Mississippi River Water Trail has been established through the conservation of Buck Island near Helena, Arkansas, thanks to the efforts of the American Land Conservancy (ALC), the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and other partners.
